DDr. Claus Walter

Claus Walter, born in 1951, studied Law and Philosophy (Political Sciences). At the tender age of 22 he started work at the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. For many years, he has run the unit for protocol, responsible for bilateral meetings, friendship societies and the relations service to foreign representation groups, as well as housing affairs. He is President of the Federation of Austrian-Foreign Societies, PaN (Dachverband der Österreichisch-ausländischen Freundschaftsgesellschaften, PaN  -- Partner aller Nationen). His long-term efforts for community understanding, communication and friendship were rewarded by his nomination as research professor at the Danyang Academy for Cultural Research and International Culture Exchange of the People’s Republic of China. Professor Walter developed the first examination, research and lectureship in the field of networking and lobbying at a private Viennese educational institute.
