OMV Exploration & Production GmbH explores for, develops and produces oil and gas in Austria and abroad.

The company has had a balanced, international E&P portfolio in 17 countries since 2006. This portfolio has been split into six core regions:
    
the Danube-Adriatic Area, North Africa, North-West Europe, Middle East, Australia/New Zealand and Russia/Caspian Region.

The daily production of OMV increased to about 320,000 of oil equivalent (boe), following the acquisition of a majority stake in Romania’s Petrom. Daily production is currently about 39,000 boe in Austria.

OMV uses the most up-to-date technologies in exploration (prospecting for oil and natural gas), as well as their internationally renowned know-how.

communication matters works on “special” projects for OMV Exploration & Production. This includes projects in staff communication, internet projects and publications.

The goal of our work is to strengthen internal and external communications and to network employees at different E&P Ventures around the world.

We are helping to position OMV E&P as an important part of the holding. This means to communicate the special fascination of the “upstream” business, the necessary scientific expertise and technical challenges to the “outside world”.
