Working for a tidy Austria
The Verband Österreichischer Entsorgungsbetriebe (Association of Austrian Waste Disposal Companies), founded in 1982, is an independent association that represents the interests of the Austrian waste disposal industry at home and in Brussels. It has some 240 members - about 80 percent of the country’s commercial waste disposal companies. Its members collect, treat and dispose of two-thirds of Austria's waste, employ around 20,000 people and together return almost EUR 3 billion in revenue.
Our activities on behalf of VÖEB range from strategic communication consultancy through to assisting with media relations, and the conception, design and production of a variety of publications including the association’s magazine and its annual report.
