In May 2003, the PR-Agencies communication matters and Esprit formed a strategic partnership. The cooperation was created in the form of a joint venture, a legal integration of the two firms is currently not under consideration. The concentration of both agencies at the same place in Vienna’s  Kolschitzkygasse, as well as bundling competences and activities, is occurring in the light of EU  Enlargement and the new challenges this poses for the communications branch, such as the internationalisation and expansion of the services on offer to customers.  Stefan Szalachy, the Managing Director of Esprit, and the Joint Managing Partners of communication matters, Christian Kollmann and Peter Menasse, are convinced that this step will result in numerous positive impulses for the clients of both agencies.
