History
The public relations agency communication matters was founded on 3rd May, 1999 by Christian Kollmann, Dr. Meta Raunig and Mag. Peter Menasse. The agency began with four members of staff, in addition to the three Managing Partners, and had revenues of 513,000 euros in the rump financial year 1999. In the first half of 1999, the agency serviced nine customers.
In 2003 communication matters went into cooperation with the PR agency Esprit and its Managing Director Stefan Szalachy. This resulted in both personnel and activity synergies. At the end of 2004, Meta Raunig left the company to pursue new career responsibilities. The partners Christian Kollmann and Peter Menasse will continue running the agency.
For the first time, communication matters + Esprit became one of the top ten PR agencies in Austria in 2003. In 2007, revenues reached 1.18 million euros. 14 fixed employees and a number of freelance staff provide services for about 30 customers.
